About
Peacefully Whole Recovery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Kentucky that is dedicated to improving the quality of life and success of recovery for those battling opioid use disorder (OUD), co-occuring substance use disorders (SUD) and trauma by providing accessible health and wellness resources and services. Wellness should be attainable for everyone, regardless of economic status. The mind-body connection is a profound and complex relationship.
Recovery looks different for everyone and there are many valid pathways. But we all have bodies, and our bodies are connected to our minds. Individuals with SUD often have co-occuring chronic health conditions, chronic pain or suffer from depression, anxiety or post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). We strive to provide services that aren't always covered by insurance but are critically important tools in fighting the opioid epidemic.
When used in conjunction with psychotherapy, psychiatry and/or Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), holistic wellness services can vastly improve the quality of life for individuals in recovery, however they choose to recover.
